The renovations Grif had commissioned to give a slightly more personal touch to the base formerly known as Blood Gulch Outpost Number One were more or less complete. After his reconstruction, Grif had stayed for the first few days in the room provided for him by Dr. Takashima, mostly sleeping with the occasional bit of text messaging to the Nexus. For a while each day, the Red Army end of Blood Gulch rings out with the sounds of gunfire.
